Underground Cemetery - Nagcarlan Laguna

June 6, 2011

First time at Underground Cemetery of Nagcarlan, Laguna.
It's the only cemetery in the country that works as a meeting place for the
rebel leaders of Laguna.

Father Vicente Belloc, a Franciscan missionary, built the underground cemetery in 1851.

When we were about to enter the church, the caretaker advised us not to use camera flash  while taking picture underground.... I wonder why?... hmmm....

Oppssiedassies, underground na... Pao is getting bit shaky ( scared kase ) while taking our photos, hay sayang ang pose. The place is surrounded by crypts...wahhhh.

At the Aisle. I need to step up just for this photo... Am scared! Promise... the place is so cold and too moist...

See you on my next post.... ;-)
