Whats keeping me busy.. pt.1

Late Post:
Early this year my folks had their vacation here in the Philippines. One of the reason why am so busy for the past months...

My Mommy Glories request - DAMPA. We ate at the famous Aling Tonya's at the Sea Side, Macapagal.
Sea Foods galore. Don't mind our table, its was a total holocaust.

Before the crazy and busy itinerary we headed to KULTURA for the Pasalubong that they will bring back to the US.

The MRP - Most Requested Pasalubong. Dried Mango, Polvoron, Pastillas and Boy Bawang are the most requested one. We ended up buying 10 shopping bags of different goodies, seriously??. That proves that most of the Filipino abroad misses the Philippines. Food make them feel that they are not away from home.

That's my Uncle. First thing to order? "What's your wifi password?" ....
He'd die without a wifi connection hahaha! After a few days he decided to buy his pocket wifi. Surely Technology rules again.

They love going back to Villa Escudero. Here we are again...
Entrance Fee - Php1,200.00 per head inclusive of tour of the whole villa (except for the museum) and buffet lunch . Not bad huh!

The most awaiting lunch at the River! They served All Filipino Food. That's why most of the visitors are foreigners or balik-bayans.

See that? Reality Check.

Mommy and Daddy were having fun with their food. They missed the Pancit Bihon.
The Kaldereta is sooo good! two thumbs up!

To Native. Hmm... it gave me the idea for my bathroom.

Now I got it why our Mommy and Daddy loves to go back here. It is because of the Cultural Folk Dance of the Philippines, Take me back to my history pala.... Our Mommy was a cultural dancer when she was in High School. Hahah! Shocks! She still knows the moves and the lyrics of the Kundiman. She was singing all the way.
I was watching attentively and forgot to take pictures. Me thinking if I can do the dance myself. It looks easy but not.
Would you believe that all the dancers are the whole staff of Villa Escudero from different department. I thought at the beginning they are the professional dancers you will see performing at CCP or PICC or any big event that Phils is hosting. They are really very good.
You can watch them on a weekends and holidays.

After the performance, the dancers will give souvenirs to the audience.

The Kids are awesome. Most of them are the children of the staff

The River.

If you have Balik-Bayan friends or families or Foreign friends that has never been to Villa Escudero, bring them there for sure they will enjoy the feeling of Nostalgic only in the Philippines. Plus the only vehicle within the Villa are the Famous Carabao. My Favorite is Ligaya....

Again, IT'S ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES!

XOXO

One Night In Bangkok

Its been a while and I miss blogging.
So much work to do last year and this first quarter of the year.

So anyway, here's my first blog for the year 2016 - My Travel to Bangkok, Thailand.
If you are checking my instagram and my twins blog you will see that last year we celebrated their birthday in BKK.
This time, it's Alone-Time! I much appreciated my travel this year because I have no kids to follow and take cared of. And Geezzzz... Yehey no amusement park this time!!!

It was only a quick trip so I didn't bring too much though.

At Last.  I missed seeing this temple last year because my boys doesn't want to go.
Oh not this time.....The Wat Pho Temple.
It is a first grade royal monastery and temple dating from the first region of the royal house of Chakri. The completion of the temple took 5 years in the making, from 1783 to 1788.

Entering The Scripture Hall - PHRA MONDOB.

The Famous Reclining Buddah. PHRA BUDDAH SAIYAS.
It is 46 meter is length, and 15 meters in height from the base to the top knot. The feet are 5 meters long and 3 meters high. Oh she's really HUGE.
Buddhists believe that the worshiping image bring them Peace and Happiness. - So that explains why I am happy these days.
